As the crazed driver of a U-Haul zipped through the streets of Brooklyn running down cyclists and pedestrians, an NYPD officer scrambled to clear school children playing in a street that could have been in danger, video shows.

In harrowing body-worn camera footage released by police Tuesday night, officers from Bay Ridge’s 68th Precinct pull up to a road closed off for students to play during recess.

An officer runs down the street warning students and teachers to get inside.

“Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go!” he shouts as kids run alongside and ahead him. “Guys, get off the street! Let’s go, off the street!”

With the help of staff watching over the children, the cop gets the kids off the street and into the school.

“This is Neighborhood Policing and your officer’s actions further exemplify the NYPD’s unwavering commitment to protecting the communities we serve,” the NYPD said in a tweet.

As the kids were hurried off the street, Wong Sor was behind the wheel of a rented truck wreaking havoc in the neighborhood.

He purposefully ran down his victims as they fled for their life, police sources said.

The 62-year-old man hit nine people during the terrifying rampage, including single dad YiJie Ye, 44, who did not survive the attack, according to cops.

Sor’s attack began at Fourth Ave. and 54th St. in Sunset Park before Moving into Bay Ridge and then Dyker Heights, police said.

He was on the loose running people down for over an hour before cops arrested him at Hamilton Ave. and Columbia St. in Red Hook at 11:24 a.m.

Sor, whose last known address is in Las Vegas, was charged Tuesday with murder, attempted murder and assault.
