4 Boston Police Uniforms Stolen During Supply Store Burglary

Local authorities alerted the Boston Police Department about the break-in at the Weymouth police and fire supply store and warned them to be on the lookout for potential impersonators.

Four Boston Police Department dress coats, pants and a leather jacket were stolen during an overnight break-in at a Weymouth supply store, authorities told WCVB.

The burglary, at Andrea’s Police and Fire Supply store in Weymouth, was discovered on Monday morning, authorities told reporters.

Weymouth police alerted the Boston Police Department of the uniform theft and told them to be on the lookout for potential impersonators, the news station said.

Weymouth police are still investigating the robbery.
