Kan. Police Officer, 2 Others Seriously Injured in Crash

April 17, 2023 A 32-year-old Wichita police officer was in a pursuit when he struck another vehicle in an intersection, leaving the officer and two other people injured.

Three people, including a Wichita police officer, were seriously injured after a crash early Sunday morning in east Wichita.

The crash was reported around 2:28 a.m. on Kellogg Drive westbound at Greenwich, Kansas Highway Patrol crash logs show.

32-year-old officer Nathaniel Denshaw was on duty and in a pursuit when he failed to yield at a stop light and struck a car that was heading north on Greenwich, the report said.

The driver and passenger in the 2017 Ford Fusion that was struck were 22-year-old Brianna Coon of Augusta and 22-year-old Cameron Tadayon of Wichita. Both were taken to Wesley Medical Center with suspected serious injuries, the log said.

Denshaw was also taken to Wesley with suspected serious injuries.
