NYPD cops shot a man to death after he tried to get inside a Brooklyn precinct stationhouse early Sunday and slashed an officer in the face for stopping him, police said.

The slasher tried to enter the 73rd Precinct stationhouse at East New York Ave. and Thomas S. Boyland St. in Brownsville through a locked door in the front vestibule about 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, then circled around the building and tried to get in through a backdoor, police said.

When a uniformed officer stopped him and told him he needed to go around front if he wanted help, he whipped out a 14-inch butcher knife and attacked her, police said.
